Nigel Chan

Nigel has over 15 years of experience designing and executing complex technology projects. As one of the earliest employees, Nigel has been instrumental in developing the foundation of the firm, including its strategy, Program Management Office (PMO) methodologies, and management techniques. He is skilled at leadership on software and infrastructure projects and managing large, cross-functional, and highly-engaged teams; his combination of talent, knowledge and experience has enabled Xyster’s clients to seamlessly navigate high-stakes organizational transformations with ease and confidence.

Nigel led the Program Management Office for coordination of workplace strategy and IT & AV design and consulting services for an 800,000 square foot, flagship headquarters and subsequent technology rollout to the client's regional sites, a portfolio of more than 2 million square feet. Nigel also facilitated program management and IT & AV design and consulting services for for an 11-story, 500,000 square foot “Office of the Future”, in downtown Boston. The project received several commendations from executive management for accomplishing its goals with minimal production impact and customer complaints.

Previously, Nigel managed a critical bicoastal data center relocation initiative as part of a strategy to mitigate geographic risk to business operations. The efforts included creating and conducting business user tests to validate the end-to-end disaster recovery strategy, readiness and resiliency preparedness, and leadership of data center de-fit initiative to relocate or decommission more than 300 pieces of IT infrastructure equipment.
